Blue Springs South June 15 – 26: We look forward to 10 days of conditioning, Jags!  All are invited – find your session below. We need your help with our social distance plan.  Please refer to the Parking/DropOff link PARKING DROP OFF   If you are picking up a student or being picked up, please refer to the PickUp link PICK UP . On this site home page, you can read the BSSD Activities Guidelines June 2020.  It also includes a Parent Permission form that MUST BE SIGNED in order to participate on campus this summer.             Parent Permission

Students are encouraged to bring a draw string bag to secure:  keys, phone, wash cloth/rag and water.

Session 1:  645-745am  Football & Wrestling grades 10-12.  Jr & Sr park in PAC lot and enter normal practice gate to football field (50 max).  Sophs park in south lot or be dropped off at south football field/track entrance and work out in the soccer stadium (50 max).  If over 100 students, will use grass field east of soccer (all sessions). Non-drivers picked up at assigned curb.  See links for Parking/Drop Off and Pick Up!

  • We want kids walking to their car or pick ups spot at 745am. We will ask the next group not to arrive/prep to enter a field until 5 minutes before their start time.

Session 2:  8-9am  ALL freshmen boys.  A-M (last name) dropped off at south football field/track entrance (50 max) and N-Z dropped off at soccer stadium (50 max).  Pick up at assigned curb on southwest end of campus. See links for Parking/Drop Off and Pick Up!

  • We want kids walking to their car or pick up spot at 9am. We will ask the next group not to arrive/prep to enter a field until 5 minutes before their start time.

Session 3:  915-1015am  All girls.  Non Football 10-12 boys.  Volleyball on football field and Girls Basketball on soccer field.  All other boys and girls split between the 2 fields (50 max per field).  Parking will be in the Green lot for all in this session.  See links for Parking/Drop Off and Pick Up!

Any student “waiting for a ride” will go to assigned alphabet curb.  Wherever they are picked up their first time – – they need to communicate to parent – “this is the spot to pick me up every time at South until further notice”.  ALL PICK UP CAN ENTER AT ONE OF 3 LOCATIONS: 1) off Ryan Rd to BSSAC (former YMCA) – that lot is connected to entire campus  2) off ADP & then normal school day traffic flow 3) at Adams Dairy Parkway stoplight but you will be forced immediately right and join the normal school day traffic flow.

*Certainly the first few days, STUDENTS – once you have arrived at your assigned site for pickup, please call your ride and help them get to you.
