Meet Recap

The Blue Springs South girls cross country team competed in the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Saturday. They placed 3rd out of 86 complete teams from Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. Junior Tori Findley was the overall individual champion winning the race in a time of 17:33. Her time was one of the fastest in meet history. Other scorers were Danielle Hotalling (19:10), Lauren Low (19:45), Cassie Brown (19:59), and Audrey Smith (20:14). The top two teams were nationally-ranked Keller High School (TX) and Southlake-Carroll High School (TX). The junior varsity team finished 7th out of 57 complete teams to finish another outstanding day for the Jaguars.
